What it is
Codex Migrate is an unofficial tool that moves a local OpenAI Codex setup and selected workspaces to a new Mac, with a planning mode that shows what will move and whether both Macs are ready before anything changes. It backs up, installs and verifies instead of overwriting, and nothing is copied to a cloud. The MIT-licensed CLI is free, and the signed and notarized Mac app beta is $49 once.
