New Dev Tools to Try

The best dev tools come from annoyance: someone hit the same wall three times, built a way around it, and cleaned it up enough to share. That's most of what lands in this category — CLIs, AI coding helpers, analyzers, and utilities that solve one problem a working developer actually has.

That extends past the editor, too. Plenty of indie makers fund their side projects with freelance work, and the admin side of that is its own recurring annoyance — billable.dev exists because billing clients for dev work shouldn't take longer than the work itself.

Every tool here is free to try — free, free trial, or freemium — and reviewed by a human before going live. If you built something that saves developers time, submit it free; this is exactly the audience that will kick the tires and tell you what broke.

Nothing is featured in Dev Tools yet. Featured placement puts one app at the top of this page with a badge, and gets it reviewed and live within 24 hours. See featured placement.
