What it is
OfficeDex is a desktop workspace for macOS and Windows where you open a Word document, Excel workbook or PowerPoint deck and either ask its assistant, Dex, to draft or change any part or edit the file yourself. You can connect your own model provider, such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Google, or use OfficeDex credits. Manual editing is free, AI usage is separate, and the app is released under GPL-3.0.
