Open Audacity .aup4 and .aup3 projects in the browser, nothing uploaded
What it is
Waveward reads an Audacity project file directly in the browser, rebuilding every track and clip from the SQLite database so you can see the timeline and play the mix without installing Audacity. It parses the file locally using a Web Worker and SQLite compiled to WebAssembly, so nothing is uploaded. Opening, playing and exporting the stereo mix to WAV or MP3 are free for projects up to 256 MB; a one-time $19 licence adds damaged-project recovery, downgrading .aup4 back to .aup3, per-track stems and larger projects.
